Innovation at INEOS Styrolution is closely connected to our worldwide cooperation partners. We have strategic partnerships with excellent universities and research institutes in order to be always up-to-date in terms of current technological developments and apply them in our products. Our partners support our Global research unit and our regional development network.

Most important for us is the direct exchange with our customers on R&D level to enable joint developments. We listen to our customer’s needs and are always curious about even the “crazy” ideas and concepts.
We organize workshops at innovative and important customers and face their questions and needs, provide advice and discuss possible solutions. This is often starting point for new products. Working together with sciences, customers and suppliers, that is what we understand as open innovation.
